Frequently Asked Questions
What information do I need to provide?
To start, we typically require the letter of instruction, any relevant background information, and specific questions to be addressed in the report. We also need to know the deadline for the report, so we can make sure we align with your and the solicitor’s timeline. All our work is bespoke, so an example, anonymised report section can be very helpful. We will work together with you to identify the easiest way to securely access medical records or completed psychometrics / questionnaires.
How long does a report take?
Our average turnaround time is 5 working days but we will never take on work if we do not feel we can meet your deadline. We understand that meeting our deadline is crucial to you meeting your deadlines. We also offer an expedited 48-hour service for urgent cases.
Is my data safe?
Absolutely. We understand the importance of how sensitive the data is that we are handling. We are ICO registered and work together with you to identify the most secure way to transfer files. We are willing to use remote private desktops, Leapfile, Cliniko or other file-storage options. If you have any questions, please do get in touch here.
What are your fees?
Our fees are competitive and offer great value for money, freeing you of the heavy lifting of reviewing medical records at a price that makes complete sense. We utilise an hourly rate costing as we feel this is the fairest approach for both parties and there are never any hidden costs.
How can I get cheaper fees?
We know we do a great job and would love to have a positive impact on more expert witnesses. That’s why we offer a Refer an Expert scheme — it allows everyone to win:
You save money, your fellow experts save money, and we get a chance to prove our expertise to more people.
Simply refer a fellow expert using our quick referral form.
When they place an order, you both get 25% off your next report.
And the best part? It’s unlimited — for every new expert you refer who completes an order, you’ll receive another 25% off your next report.
